Storm Lake hosted its annual Tornado Invitational last Saturday and the Tornadoes came out on the losing end of two games.

Storm Lake was defeated by Sioux Center 8-0 in the first round. The team was limited to three hits — singles by Parker Lange, Grant Kofmehl and Ross Dewerff.

Charlie Robbins took the loss. He allowed six hits and six runs, three of which were earned, walked five and struck out three through four innings. Blake Berry pitched three innings in relief, allowing three hits and striking out three.
