SL boys win to even up record

Storm Lake’s Gerson Galicia and West Sioux’s Mario Topete vie for possession

Daniel Urrea scored two goals and had two assists to help Storm Lake even its record after a 4-2 win over West Sioux on Tuesday night at Tornado Stadium.

Elvis Castro and Josh Werge each added a goal for the Tornadoes, now 4-4 overall. Eugenio Eosiles had an assist.

Goalkeeper Ruben Aldaba recorded three saves in the net.

Storm Lake totaled 13 shots in the game, including seven on goal.

WEST SIOUX won the girls game 1-0. The visitors scored the only goal of the game at the start of the second half.
