Galva ethanol plant story heard in DC

Quad County Corn Processors was one of four biofuel producers to present to the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., to detail its progress towards launching commercial scale production of cellulosic ethanol this year.

Representatives warned that the continued growth of this industry is at significant risk because of the U.S. EPA’s proposal to gut the renewable fuel standard and increase the amount of oil in gasoline.
