More charges filed by police in meth bust
Additional charges have been filed against Keooutany “Tony” Thongvanh, 33, of Storm Lake, in connection with the alleged intent to sell methamphetamine in Storm Lake.
Police report that on April 12 they executed a search warrarnt on Thongvanh’s vehicle in the 400 block of West Ninth Street.
Police say they located and seized approximately seven grams of additional methamphetamine from the vehicle.
Police have additionally charged Thongvanh with possession with intent to deliver five or more grams of methamphetamines and failure to affix a drug tax stamp.
Thongvanh remains held in the Buena Vista County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
Man charged with delivery of methamphetamine
Storm Lake Police made an arrest Tuesday afternoon in connection with an investigation into the illegal sale of methamphetamine in the city.
At 2:30 p.m. Tuesday police arrested Bonifacio Cuellar, 29, of Storm Lake near the intersection of Superior Street and East Second Street.
Police issued an arrest warrant charging Cuellar with two counts of delivery of methamphetamine following his alleged sale of methamphetamine to a police informant.
Cuellar was arrested without incident and was booked into the county jail on a $50,000 bond.
Wanted man jailed
A wanted person was arrested Monday at 11:29 a.m. at 700 Russell St.
Police arrested Gustavo Adolfo Gracia, 19, of Storm Lake, who was wanted out of Buena Vista County on the charge of failure to appear in court in reference to public intoxication.
Gracia was booked into the county jail on a $1,767.30 bond.
Wanted person jailed
Police responded to the Tyson plant Monday afternoon to arrest a wanted person.
Mai Phompong, 42, of Storm Lake was arrested on a warrant out of BV County in reference to domestic assault. Phompong was booked into the county jail and was held without bond.
Storm Lake woman arrested on warrant
A wanted person was located Monday at 7:15 p.m. at 709 Otsego St.
Police arrested Alrella Khaleck, 19, of Storm Lake, on a warrant out of Buena Vista County charging her with contempt of court in reference to truancy.
Khaleck was booked into the county jail on a $182.75 bond.
