Sioux Central captures girls team title in Cherokee Tomahawk Relays

Sioux Central’s Bailey McGuire won the long jump by leaping 15 feet

even during last Friday’s Tomahawk Relays in Cherokee.


Ridge View places 6th, Alta-Aurelia takes 8th

Bailey McGuire finished first in two individual events and four relay teams were victorious as Sioux Central won the Tomahawk Relays last Friday at Cherokee.

The Rebels scored 128 points in the meet. Ridge View was sixth with 49 points and Alta-Aurelia eighth with 41.

In the 100 meters, Sioux Central’s Darma Tripp won the race with a clocking of 13.37 seconds. Alta-Aurelia’s Bailey Duhn was fifth in 13.98 seconds and Sioux Central’s Emma Meyers sixth in 14.15 seconds.
