Bagpiper impresses Sunset Knoll residents

Residents turned the TV off and enjoyed live bagpipe music.

Honor guard member Sgt. Mike Manthorne from Sioux City came to Sunset Knoll Care & Rehab Center in Aurelia March 21 to play the bagpipes for the residents.

“Yes, it was very loud,” says activity director Carri Eckert. “Much louder than I thought. I made a note to myself to do this outside next year when the weather is nice.
