Buena Vista sweeps three-game series from Nebraska Wesleyan University

    Four Buena Vista pitchers combined to hold Nebraska Wesleyan to three hits while the offense scored in four of the final five innings and the Beavers went on to complete the three-game series sweep at Nebraska Wesleyan with a 6-0 win on Sunday.

Eight different players had at least one hit as BVU finished with 12. In the three games, the Beavers recorded 35 base hits.

Brandon Wessels registered a game-high three hits while also scoring twice and driving in one. Weston Foxx and Eric Gurbacki each followed with two hits with Foxx driving in two.
