ALICE safety training

Storm Lake St. Mary’s School faculty, administration and staff attended their first ALICE safety training Wednesday afternoon during their in-service time. The training gives staff members the tools to stay safe and keep their students safe in the unlikely event that a violent intruder or person with a weapon should be in the school. Detective Brian Flikeid and School Resource Officer John Bauer of the Storm Lake Police Department conducted the training for the local Catholic school staff.
