Swimming

In the news there was a story about a man fishing. His boat overturned and he was thrown in the ocean. He was not wearing a life preserver and had to tread water for 23 hours before being rescued. I don’t know if anyone has been in the water without a life preserver for longer than that. There have been people who swam the English Channel, which is about 22 miles across and takes over 15 hours.
