St. Mary’s boys rout rival L-M

Storm Lake St. Mary’s scored the first 15 points of the game and the Panthers were never threatened after that as they beat Laurens-Marathon 77-59 in a Twin Lakes Conference game last Friday at Laurens.

St. Mary’s held a 20-9 lead after the first quarter, thanks to an Ian Schaller 3-point buzzer-beater. It was 44-19 at halftime and 57-38 going into the fourth quarter. St. Mary’s led by as many as 28 in the second half.
