LeMars jumped out to a 22-5 lead after the first quarter and the Bulldogs were never threatened after that as they defeated Storm Lake 62-39 in a Lakes Conference game last Friday night at Tornado Fieldhouse.

LeMars held a 36-16 lead at halftime and led 52-24 heading into the fourth period.

“This was one of the more complete games we’ve played,” Storm Lake coach Mel Fisher said. “We have been working all year on putting four quarters together. We got about 31⁄2 good quarters out of the girls.”
