LeMars proves to be too much for SL

Tyler Borchers finished with 27 points and Jake Irwin added 24 as LeMars proved to be too much for Storm Lake, handing the Tornadoes a 79-64 setback in a Lakes Conference game last Friday night at Tornado Fieldhouse.

LeMars jumped out to a 22-17 lead after the first quarter. It was 43-28 at halftime and     59-43 going into the fourth period of play.

Yach Deng scored 24 points to lead Storm Lake, now 5-13. Kuony Deng added 19 and Parker Lange 10. Charlie Robbins scored five points, Amer Damanhoury four and Ross Dewerff two.
