Sioux Central pulls away in second half to beat CC-E

Sioux Central outscored Clay Central-Everly 36-25 in the second half to erase a two-point deficit and went on to beat the Mavericks 52-43 in a nonconference game last Saturday at Everly.

The Rebels trailed 8-6 after the first quarter and were down 18-16 at halftime, but led 34-30 heading into the fourth period.

Nicole Hamilton scored 11 points and added five rebounds and three steals to lead the Rebels. Erin Rachuy added 10 points, four rebounds, five assists and five steals.
