L-M upends Clay Central-Everly

Laurens-Marathon jumped out to a 22-5 lead after the first quarter and were never threatened after that as the Chargers knocked off Clay Central-Everly 69-44 in a nonconference game last Thursday night at Everly.

Laurens-Marathon held a 46-21 lead at halftime and took a 63-30 lead into the fourth period of play.

Tyler Stumbo poured in a season-high 32 points to lead the Chargers. Riley Maschino added 18. Devin Grossnickle, Keegan Jamison and Chase Oehlertz all scored six points. Tre Seiler chipped in with one point.
