Alta-Aurelia nearly squanders lead in one-point win

Alta-Aurelia nearly blew an 11-point lead in the fourth quarter, but the Warriors made their free throws down the stretch to hang on for a 61-60 win over Lawton-Bronson on Tuesday night at Alta.

“A win we needed for sure,” Alta-Aurelia coach Chris Abaray said. “We are so Jeckyl and Hyde from time to time in games. We execute so well offensively to get leads and then have lapses within our same sets when we get comfortable. We blew an 11-point lead. We must continue to get better in these situations.
