St. Mary’s can’t keep up with East Sac County

Jasmine Demers poured in 25 points and charted six rebounds, four blocked shots and two steals, but it wasn’t enough as East Sac County jumped out to a 20-9 lead after the first quarter en route to a 71-42 win over the Panthers in a Twin Lakes Conference game last Friday at Sac City.

The Raiders held a 40-21 lead at halftime and led 54-33 after three periods.

Riley Lenhart had seven points for the Panthers, who are now 6-5. Emily Ivey scored four points, while Katie Lenhart and Rachel Todd each scored three.
