Second quarter hurts St. Mary’s in loss

East Sac County outscored Storm Lake St. Mary’s 30-8 in the second quarter and were never threatened after that as the Raiders beat the Panthers 75-39 in a Twin Lakes Conference game last Friday.

Justin Kraft scored 14 of his 17 points in that second period, including four 3-pointers. Reed Tellinghuisen led all scorers with 25 points for East Sac.

Josh Demers scored nine points to lead St. Mary’s. Trevor Landgraf and Michael Demers each had eight points.
