Second half spurt by Dubuque does in Buena Vista in IIAC loss

Buena Vista cut the deficit to nine early in the second half, but it was the University of Dubuque that used a key 19-9 run midway through the second half to break the game open en route to a 91-65 Iowa Conference victory over the Beavers last Saturday.

Lexi Fisher turned in a team-high 16 points for BVU with Malarie Gilley right behind with 15 points and six rebounds.

Susan Kies added 13 points, including 5-of-6 at the free throw line. Sidney Beckman came off the bench and was also in double figures with 11.
