Prep football teams may be thrown for a loss with regular season slate

More recovery needed between playoff rounds


Every two years, the prep football landscape is changed when the Iowa High School Athletic Association realigns its district assignments.

Another change could be on the way next year. The IHSAA’s board of control will vote today on a proposal that would cut one game from the prep football regular season from nine games to eight.
