Alta-Aurelia drops league game to SCC

Cristena Heschke scored 10 points and Hannah Westphal added nine, but it wasn’t enough as South Central Calhoun beat Alta-Aurelia 66-38 in a Twin Lakes Conference game last Friday at Rockwell City.

“We played a very good game,” Alta-Aurelia coach Brian Christiansen said. “Give SCC a lot of credit. They are a very good team and will be making a deep postseason run. I was very pleased with the play of Hannah Westphal and D.J. Flores. They both took on a bigger scoring role. Cristena Heschke had another great game for us. She had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.”
