Tornadoes never trail in beating Lakes rival Cherokee, 64-37

Storm Lake scored the first eight points of the game and never looked back as the Tornadoes picked up their first win of the season with a convincing 64-37 triumph over Lakes Conference rival Cherokee on Tuesday night at Cherokee.

Storm Lake held a 25-4 lead after the first quarter before extending to a 42-10 halftime lead. It was 54-26 after three periods of play.
