L-M rallies in overtime to clip Alta-Aurelia

Tyler Stumbo finished with 27 points and Riley Maschino added 10 as Laurens-Marathon rallied in the fourth quarter to tie the game and eventually went on to beat Alta-Aurelia   59-58 in overtime on Tuesday night at Laurens.

Laurens-Marathon overcame a four-point deficit late in the game to send it into overtime.

Alta-Aurelia led for most of the overtime period, but the Chargers scored a basket late in the extra session to take a one-point lead.

The Warriors took possession of the ball with a chance to win, but the Chargers stopped them from scoring.
