No. 1-ranked Newell-Fonda uses balance to beat Chargers
Newell-Fonda’s balancing act was just too much for Laurens-Marathon.
Dillon Anderson scored 13 points to lead four players in double figures as the No. 1-ranked Mustangs defeated the Chargers 65-41 on Tuesday.
Newell-Fonda jumped out to an 18-6 lead after the first quarter. It was 30-17 at halftime and 42-23 entering the fourth.
Mason Scheidegger scored 12 points for the Mustangs. Brady Dicks had 11 and Brady Bohe 10.
Adam Mullen scored six points. Zach Hecht had four, Ben Lindstrom three, and Gabe Podraza, Connor Wolterman and Payton Crilly two apiece.
