No. 8 Coe proves too much for BVU

Buena Vista had the tough task of opening its Iowa Conference schedule on the road at No. 8 Coe and saw the Kohawks earn bonus points in nine of the 10 matches en route to a 53-0 victory last Thursday at Cedar Rapids.

Coe earned pins in each of the first four matches, which began at 133 pounds. At 165 pounds, Seth Shatto went the distance for the Beavers against 10th-ranked Farai Sewera but came up short in the end, falling 13-3.

Of those in the lineup for the Kohawks, Sewera entered the dual with the longest win streak this season at six and improves to 10-2 overall.
