President will accept piecemeal approach

No mention by Obama of pathway to citizenship

President Barack Obama said Tuesday that he would accept a piecemeal agreement to overhauling the United States immigration system.

Obama has been in favor of the Senate’s comprehensive immigration bill that passed in June, but the House has made it clear that it wouldn’t consider that bill at all.
