Sioux Central entertains No. 5 St. Edmond


Sioux Central is trying to stay in contention for a possible playoff berth, but things won’t be easy for the Rebels when they play host to district front-runner and Class 1A No. 5-ranked Fort Dodge St. Edmond tonight in Albert City.

Sioux Central is currently in third place in the district, a half game ahead of Manson Northwest Webster.

Sioux Central coach Brandon Goodchild came away very impressed with the Gaels after watching them on tape.

“They are a very physical team with good team speed,” he said.
