Alta-Aurelia needs win to stay in race

Warriors play No. 7 rated Hinton at home

Alta-Aurelia is in a position to solidify itself for a state playoff berth.

The Warriors are currently in fourth place in their district with two games remaining after beating Akron-Westfield last week.

But tonight a stiffer challenge awaits the Warriors as Class A No. 7-ranked Hinton — a team above Alta-Aurelia in the standings — visits Alta.

The Blackhawks are 4-1 and 5-2 overall. The warriors are 2-3 and 3-4 overall.
