Western Christian proved why it is the No. 1-ranked team in the state in Class 2A as the Wolfpack beat Storm Lake in a Lakes Conference match on Tuesday at Tornado Fieldhouse.

Game scores were 25-6, 25-7, 25-4.

“Western Christian is one of the best teams in the state and they showed why,” Storm Lake coach Kim Johnson said. “We did do some things well though and that’s what we should focus on.”

Toni Besch, Rylee James and Nyajouk Lam each had a kill for Storm Lake. James recorded two set assists.
