Newell-Fonda looks to remain in first place when it entertains CWL

Running back a huge concern for Mustang defense tonight

Newell-Fonda has faced some very good running backs this season, but the Mustangs might see the best of the best tonight when CWL comes to Newell for a homecoming game.

The Panthers feature one of the state’s leading rushers in Esden Carroll, who ranks 14th in the state with 1,130 yards. He has scored 14 touchdowns.

Carroll is one notch below Newell-Fonda’s Brady Bohe, who has 1,143 yards and 18 touchdowns.
