Panthers trailed 9-3 in fifth and deciding game

Ryan Berg called it the greatest comeback he has seen in all his years of coaching.

His Storm Lake St. Mary’s volleyball team trailed Laurens-Marathon 9-3 in the fifth and deciding set when the Panthers scored eight straight points to take control of the game and went on for a five-game win in Twin Lakes Conference play last Thursday at St. Mary’s.

Game scores were 23-25,   25-23, 25-17, 22-25, 15-13.
