Mustangs put up 48 points in first half

Brady Bohe rushed for 226 yards and four touchdowns and Newell-Fonda generated 553 yards of total offense in a 68-14 win over district rival Laurens-Marathon last Friday night at Newell.

The Mustangs finished with 422 yards rushing in the game on 33 carries. They passed for another 131 yards.

Bohe opened the scoring with a 20-yard touchdown run on the Mustangs’ first offensive series. He would follow that up with a 43-yard touchdown scamper.
