Spikers off to best start in 7 years

Buena Vista improved to 8-3 overall last Friday by winning two more matches during the Grinnell College Triangular.  BVU began play with a three-set triumph over the host Pioneers before knocking off William Penn in four sets.

Against Grinnell, freshman Maddie Bardole and senior Chelsea Clayton totaled 12 and 11 kills, respectively, to help lead the charge offensively during a match in which BVU won by scores of 25-21, 25-20, 25-16.  The team closed the match strong, posting 11 kills and only two errors in the third set alone.
