Laurens-Marathon evens record after narrow victory over CWL

Chargers pull out
30-26 win on road

Laurens-Marathon used two big pass plays to regain momentum as the Chargers went on to edge CWL (Corwith) 30-26 in an 8-man game last Friday night at Corwith.

The Chargers scored first on an 8-yard pass from Riley Maschino to Chase Oehlertz for a 6-0 lead.

After a pair of CWL touchdowns made it 14-6, Oehlertz found Tre Seiler for a 40-yard touchdown strike and then Levi Bechtel connected with Keegan Jamison for a 47-yard touchdown to make it 18-14 Chargers at the half.
