Sioux Central jumps on top early in 20-6 win over Alta-Aurelia

Tripp runs for 163 yards

Devin Tripp rushed for 163 yards on 42 carries and a touchdown as Sioux Central picked up its first win of the season with a 20-6 triumph over Alta-Aurelia last Friday night at Albert City.

Sioux Central scored on its opening possession as the Rebels ran the ball down the field. Quarterback Parker Habben finished the drive with a 12-yard run.

The Rebels went ahead 14-0 in the first quarter when Tripp ran 2 yards for a touchdown.
