Laurens-Marathon used the big play to beat Remsen St. Mary’s last Friday night.

Freshman Noah Anderson scampered 66 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter and then returned a kickoff 71 yards for a score in the third quarter as the Chargers knocked off Remsen St. Mary’s 20-12 in an 8-man game at Laurens.

The Chargers won despite being outgained 278-181 in total offense.

Laurens-Marathon took a   6-0 lead on Anderson’s TD run. Quarterback Chase Oehlertz scored from 2 yards out in the second quarter to put the Chargers ahead 12-0.
