Tornadoes to be lacking depth on line, secondary; experience

Depth and experience are a wonderful luxury to have. Those two things are a question mark for Storm Lake entering the new football season.

The Tornadoes will be lacking depth and experience when they kick off the season Aug. 30 by hosting Cherokee.

“We are concerned about our depth on offense and in the secondary and our lack of experience,” Storm Lake coach Craig Lyon said. “We only have five starters returning.”
