Panthers’ success will depend on how quickly new players develop

St. Mary’s returns half of its lineup from ’12

Storm Lake St. Mary’s returns three starters from a volleyball team that finished 4-6 in the Twin Lakes Conference and 13-17 overall a year ago.

The Panthers bring back third team all-conference hitter Jasmine Demers, middle hitter Renae Drey and outside hitter Rachel Todd.

St. Mary’s has plenty of top prospects to help fill the void left by the loss of last year’s starters. They include Emily Ivey, Mackenzie Laven, Trisha Lenhart, Annie Flynn and Nyapal Malou.
