Two men jailed for public intoxication
On Monday morning the Storm Lake Police Department received two calls of a man arguing with another person outside of 518 Lake Ave.
Police say Dageo Jano, 32, of Storm Lake was upset and became argumentative at family members who were trying to stop him from driving while intoxicated.
Police reported that during their investigation Jano measured at three times the legal limit of intoxication.
After an investigation police arrested Jano and charged him with disorderly conduct and public intoxication.
He was booked into Buena Vista County Jail on a $600 bond.
At the same time as this incident police received a third call of a male passed out and on the ground on the west side of the Buena Vista County Historical Society Building at 214 West Fifth St.
Police arrived and identified the man as Inosenio Smith, 29, of Storm Lake.
Smith left a party in the 500 block of Lake Avenue at approximately 3:00 a.m. and became disorientated due to a high level of intoxication.
Police arrested Smith and charged him with public intoxication.
He was booked into Buena Vista County Jail on a $300 bond.
