SL man draws knife on woman
Police were sent to 221 Oneida St. on Sunday morning after a report of a person making threats with a knife.
On arrival police met with an adult female who reported that Henry Jordan, 60, of Storm Lake had a disagreement with her. Jordan became upset and physically assaulted her.
He reportedly opened his pocket knife and threatened to stab her, at which time she left the residence and called 9-1-1.
Police took Jordan into custody without incident.
Jordan was charged with domestic assault while displaying a weapon. He was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail and held without bond.
Theft at convenience store
Police were sent to Dynos at 3:37 a.m. Saturday morning after a theft was reported.
On arrival police met with the store clerk who said that two men had entered the store and one had allegedly stole a bottle of liquor and left without paying. The second person saw the clerk call 9-1-1 and told the person outside, who returned to the store with the bottle.
The men were identified as Kerry Carothers, 55, and Craig Hardison, 60, of Storm Lake.
Police arrested and charged Hardison with theft and public intoxication. He was booked on a $600 bond.

Police arrest 2 at club
Storm Lake Police conducted a bar check on Saturday night at Malarky’s Night Club.
Police made contact with Jason Evans, 24, of Spencer. While police spoke with Evans, three men agitated the officers. Police instructed them to go away and two complied, the third, Nicholas Griffin, 30, of Fort Dodge, did not.
Police arrested Evans and Griffin. Evans was charged with public intoxication and booked on a $300 bond. Griffin was charged with public intoxication and interference with official acts. He was booked on a $600 bond.
