Brashears safe, but it was one scary descent

Those inflatable slides used for airline emergencies are “a lot steeper and a lot faster than they look.” So says Steve Brashears of Storm Lake, who used one along with 154 other passengers when Allegiant Airline Flight 863 made an emergency landing on its way to St. Petersburg, Fla.
