St. Mary’s dominates Trinity Christian behind Drey’s 1-hitter

Kennedy Drey tossed a one-hit shutout as Storm Lake St. Mary’s downed Trinity Christian 10-0 in a nonconference game on Tuesday night at Memorial Field.

St. Mary’s jumped to a 3-0 lead after the first inning and added an extra run in the third. The Panthers then pushed five runs across in the fifth inning to end the game.

Drey and Joe Sandhoff each had two hits for the Panthers, who are now 13-11. Each also had two RBI, as did Josh Demers.

The Panthers received doubles from Sandhoff, Aaron Miller, Ryan Peters and Dillan Smith.
