St. Mary’s shuts out Twin Lakes Conference rival Laurens-Marathon

Mackenzie Laven went 3-for-3 and drove in five runs and Storm Lake St. Mary’s scored four runs in the second inning and five more in the fourth to hand Laurens-Marathon an 11-0 setback in a Twin Lakes Conference game last Friday at Memorial Field.
    The Panthers finished with 12 hits in the game. Laven had three singles. Maddie Laven also went 3-for-3 and scored three runs.
    Mary Rose Timko contributed two hits, three runs scored and an RBI. Annie Flynn singled and drove in two runs.
