Jury convicts Levin of murdering his mother


Bound to spend his life in prison

Kirk Levin will spend the rest of his life in prison after a Webster County jury found him guilty of first-degree murder and third-degree kidnapping.

It took jurors less than two hours to provide the verdicts Thursday afternoon to District Judge Timothy Finn. Final arguments were heard that day by Asst. Attorney General Doug Hammerand and defense attorney Charles Kenville.
