Levin Cites Dayton Teen Abduction in Reasoning for Second Trail Move

The attorney for accused murderer Kirk Levin of Early has requested that his client's trial be relocated a second time in less than one month.

Public defender Chuck Kenville on May 3 filed a change of venue motion stating that Levin, who authorities say stabbed his mother to death and abducted a Storm Lake woman on Jan. 3, could was unable to receive a fair trial in Sac County because of “extensive media coverage and publicity.”
